There was once a little rabbit who lived in a hole near a farm. He was all alone and didn’t have many friends. He had chosen to build his home near a farm so he could safely gather food and take it back to his home. He had gotten to know some of the other farm animals like the duck and the sheep, but he never felt like they really connected. The duck was a Patriots fan and the sheep was a Cowboys fan, but he tolerated their company.
He built his home to be cozy and surrounded himself with things that made him comfortable. He would spend his days there daydreaming about the outside world and what other rabbits were like. Every now and then he would venture out into the open field on the other side of the farm to find something fresh to nibble on. He never stayed out too long though for fear that he might encounter a hungry coyote. He’s had an unpleasant run-in with one before.
A coyote had caught him off guard while he was grazing in the field one day. His defenses shot up immediately as soon as he sensed the coyote. The rabbit was ready to run as soon as he spied him, but the coyote remained where he was and kept his distance. After a long, awkward silence, the coyote said, “Hello.”
“Stay back,” the rabbit called out.
“Oh don’t worry,” the coyote replied. “I’m part of a new movement of vegetarian coyotes.”
The rabbit was puzzled by this for a split second then noticed a drop of saliva dripping from the coyote’s mouth. He jumped away just in time as the “so called vegetarian” coyote lunged towards him. Luckily, the rabbit had some carefully mapped escape routes that allowed him to get away without the coyote tracking him. He breathed a sigh of relief when he finally made it back to his home. Nonetheless, the rabbit hid away for a few days until he felt it was safe to come out. When he finally did, he wandered over to the old familiar farm where he felt comfort in seeing the duck and sheep. Even though he knew his Steelers would annihilate both their teams, he was glad to have their company.
Eventually he grew bored of the farm again and contemplated another trip to the grassy field next door. Alas, his fear would not let him, so he would sit at home gazing out into the blue sky, wishing he had the courage to go back out there.
One afternoon, he woke up from a mid-day nap to the sound of something rustling nearby. He lay still, just listening. For a fleeting second he pictured the “vegetarian coyote” pacing outside, but this sound was different, almost familiar. He gathered up all the courage he could and poked his head outside. Just as he did, he caught a glimpse of something brown and fluffy hopping away.
‘Another rabbit!’ he thought and jumped out of his hole to follow it. A few yards away he noticed a pair of ears that looked like his poking through the grass.
“Hello there,” he called out. No reply. “Erm…excuse me,” he tried again.
“Oh hello,” a sweet and quiet voice replied. Suddenly, the most beautiful rabbit he had ever seen emerged from the grass. It was love at first sight!
From then on the rabbit had a constant companion and by the following spring, they had a whole rabbit family! This had all come true the day he decided to face his fears and venture back into the unfamiliar and out of his comfort zone. He learned an important lesson that day and was glad that he did.

مرحبا جميلة
It's been a good 3 weeks or so since my original entry and I apologize to my readers (all 3 of you) for being such a procrastinator. I could tell you that I've been busy with work and other pressing matters, but it would only be half true. The truth is, I just haven't had much inspiration (i.e. energy) to write anything. But now the time has come for the next installment of my thought-provoking and awe-inspiring blah-g! DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
Ok, enough melodramatics.

Enjoy the video. The real fun starts at about 47 seconds.

Greetings Earthlings!
Welcome to my blah-g. It's been a week or two since I concocted this idea in my head, so I thought I'd kick off my first entry with a picture extravaganza! Although the name implies it, not everything I post will be auto-related. Forgive me.
So, to start things off, I'll tell you the cheesy story of when my affliction with cars first began. I was about 8 years old when my dad sat me down in the driver's seat of our Porsche 944 and explained to me what all the gauges in the dash were for. That day, an auto enthusiast was born. Truthfully, it means a lot to me because my parents have since separated and it's one of my favorite memories of my dad.
This is what that bad boy looked like. German Enginee
ring had me from "hello".
The next stage of my "auto narcissist" life takes us to the land of sushi and lethal blowfish. Yes, welcome to the JDM era. I still remember the day my eyes feasted on a black Supra. It was during the summer of my freshman year in high school. It passed me as I stood there on the sidewalk. I was mesmerized by it's well-proportioned curves as it disappeared over the horizon (not really - the horizon part, I mean). I knew that one day I had to experience the full potentional of the 2JZGTE.
Fast forward to 2003. Not only did that motor live up to it's name, but it was equipped with a Greddy T88H single turbo upgrade! The best way to describe this is experience is with a simple "wow". 800hp with a fully built motor courtesy of SP Engineering. Time to raise the bar!
I had the priviledge of going to college in Orange County where the students drove nicer cars than the faculty. (Go UCI! ZOT ZOT ZOT!) I always knew I was back in OC when 50% of the cars on the road had a BMW or Mercedes Benz badge on it. I'm just simple girl from a home-town where everybody knew your name (unforunately). Right around graduation time, I met a chap who was a German gearhead. When I landed my first "real" job, I decided it was time for a new car. I had settled on a G35 in keeping with the JDM theme, but he insisted that I go German. At the time, he had an E46 3 series as a daily and a 996 C2 that was lowered on a JIC suspension and had BBS LM's . I drove both and I knew that it was time to go German.

Finally, I had my first German sports car in my hands: an E46 M3. Laguna Seca Blue with black Nappa leather. 2004... the last year BMW offered the Smurf. I had a love/hate relationship with that beast from the start. (No details, too much). I was spoiled by it's uninhibited ability to take corners and turns. The sound of the S54 sang to me on cool, clear nights when we were alone down PCH. It will always have a place in my heart.
Here it is modeling in front of Race Technologies & Brembo (a branch of my roots). I initially tried to sell it just a year ago, but after a guy emailed and ask if it had heated seats, I pulled it. A deserving buyer would not care of it had seated heats or not.

Ok, sleep beckons. More tomorrow. Adieu.
